Study rooms
Work through your study sets with a tutor, by text or by voice, in a room that keeps its conversation.
A study room is a saved conversation about your own study sets. Open /study-room from Activities, pick your sets, and start one. Your rooms are listed beside it.
Start a room
Choose a mode, then up to eight of your study sets. A room only tutors from the sets you give it.
- Tutor answers questions about one activity or set — hints, explanations, the item you are stuck on. You can name the activity it should focus on, or leave it on any.
- Activity master proposes a sequence of real activities from your sets, runs you through it, and ends with an assisted review.
In a tutor room set to one activity and one set, the header carries a link straight into that activity with the room attached, so the card you are on and a running voice session follow you there.
Text and voice
The composer is the room. Text works on its own and needs nothing else.
Join voice starts a spoken session with the tutor, with captions in the panel beside the thread. You can mute, unmute and end it. Each voice session counts as one AI use, and only one room holds voice at a time — from another room, the panel says where it is running and offers to take you there or end it. Pick the voice model before joining; changing it means ending the session and joining again.
An activity master plan
The room proposes a plan: a named sequence of steps, each one an activity, a set and a number of cards, followed by an assisted review. Confirm it, or reply asking for changes. Confirming fixes the room's sources — they cannot be swapped afterwards.
From then on the panel tracks the step you are on. It counts the cards the server has recorded for that step, not a local tally, and each card counts once. Practise from the link it gives you, then Next step when enough are in.
After the last step comes the assisted review: short answers on what you just practised. Sit it, and once it is marked, record the result to close the plan. Assisted marks are labelled as such and stay separate from your unaided test scores.
