Notes and the editor

Open /notes to browse your notes. You can place notes in folders and link each one to a subject. Open a note at /note/<id> to edit it.

Write and format

The editor uses rich text blocks. Type / to open the slash menu, or drag a block by its handle to move it. Selecting text opens a formatting toolbar.

You can add:

• headings, paragraphs, and text alignment
• bulleted lists, numbered lists, and task lists with checkboxes
• tables
• code blocks with syntax highlighting
• inline and block maths rendered with KaTeX
• images pasted or dropped into the editor

Pasted and dropped images are uploaded and stored. The editor also shows a live word count and words-per-minute statistics.

Link your work

Type @ to mention one of your notes, tasks, subjects, flashcard sets, recordings, or tests. The editor inserts a live chip for the item. If you rename the item, the chip updates. If you delete it, the chip shows a tombstone instead of pointing to missing content.

Under each note, the backlinks panel lists everything that mentions that note. This gives you both directions of a connection: the mention where you inserted it and the backlink on the note it points to.

Use notes elsewhere

Notes can supply material to the copilot. When you build a test, you can also choose notes as sources alongside flashcard sets.
